Why are Racist White People doing what they do?

I carefully listen and see everything that's happening in the USA and around the world with an open mind. Therefore I cannot help but ask 2 resounding questions:

(1) Why are racist white people doing what they do?

(2) Why are they dong it to Black People?

Let's be brutally honest with ourselves, open our eyes wide and recognize the reality beyond the illusion which a majority of people on the planet  want to ignore or resist from acknowledging. Call it a conspiracy theory if you wish, but in my opinion, the following  information clearly  explains a lot if not all of what's  happening in the world with no cut on it..

1. Dr. Frances Cress Welsing's Theory: Color-Confrontation

  • Genetic Survival: Dr. Welsing theorized that "whiteness" is a genetic recessive trait, a form of albinism. She argued that because it is recessive, "white" people have a subconscious fear of genetic annihilation through intermarriage with the world's "non-white" (color-producing) majority.

  • Psychological Reaction: This deep-seated fear, she claimed, creates a profound sense of numerical inadequacy and color inferiority. To compensate for this psychological insecurity, a powerful, aggressive, and dominating defense mechanism was developed.

  • System of White Supremacy: This defense mechanism manifested as the global system of white supremacy (racism). According to her theory, the system was not primarily about economics, but about ensuring white genetic survival. Colonialism, slavery, segregation, and other forms of oppression were all logical, albeit pathological, strategies to control, subjugate, and separate non-white peoples to prevent this perceived genetic annihilation.

2. Economic Exploitation and Structural Racism

This is one of the most prominent theories. It posits that racism was developed and institutionalized primarily as a tool to justify and maintain economic exploitation.

  • Justification for Slavery: The immense profits of the transatlantic slave trade and plantation economy required a powerful ideology to justify enslaving millions of human beings. The concept of racial hierarchy—placing people of African descent at the bottom—was constructed to rationalize this brutal economic system.

  • Post-Slavery Control: After slavery was abolished, systems like sharecropping, Jim Crow laws, and convict leasing were established to continue controlling Black labor and maintaining a social and economic hierarchy.

  • Modern Manifestation: This legacy has evolved into what is often called systemic or institutional racism. This is the idea that racist logic is now "baked into" the institutions and policies of society, leading to vastly different outcomes by race, even without overt individual prejudice.

3. Social-Psychological Factors

These theories focus on the psychology of group identity and prejudice.

  • Social Identity Theory: This theory suggests that people derive a part of their self-esteem from their group membership. To feel good about their own group (the "in-group"), they may consciously or unconsciously denigrate other groups (the "out-groups"). When one group holds dominant societal power, this can manifest as racism.

  • Realistic Conflict Theory: This theory posits that prejudice and hostility arise from competition between groups for scarce resources, whether those are jobs, land, political power, or social status.

The Statistical Reality of Disparities

Regardless of the "why," the outcomes of these systems and behaviors are measurable. The data shows significant and persistent disparities across racial groups in the United States, which proponents of structural racism point to as evidence of the system at work.

  • Wealth and Income: Wealth is a critical measure because it is often intergenerational.

    • According to the Federal Reserve's 2022 Survey of Consumer Finances, the median net worth for a white family was $285,000.

    • For a Black family, the median net worth was $44,900.

    • For a Hispanic family, the median net worth was $61,600. This means the typical white family has more than 6 times the wealth of the typical Black family.

  • Criminal Justice:

    • According to The Sentencing Project, Black Americans are incarcerated in state prisons at a rate of 1,240 per 100,000 residents, which is nearly 5 times the rate of white Americans (261 per 100,000).

    • A 2017 report from the U.S. Sentencing Commission found that Black men received sentences that were, on average, 19.1% longer than those of similarly situated white men for the same crimes.

  • Hate Crimes: Overt racism is also tracked.

    • According to the FBI's 2022 Hate Crime Statistics report, of the 7,433 racially motivated hate crime offenses reported, 49.5% were motivated by anti-Black or African American bias. 19.2% were motivated by anti-White bias.

  • Health Outcomes:

    • The CDC reports that from 2018-2021, the maternal mortality rate for Black women was 53.8 deaths per 100,000 live births, which is 2.5 times the rate for white women (21.3 per 100,000). This disparity persists across all income and education levels.

In conclusion, the struggle for white supremacy and dominance through both cult behavior and  exploitation, has become embedded in our societies and  institutions. The statistics above demonstrate that regardless of the root cause, the tangible and severe consequences of these systems and beliefs remain a part of modern reality.
